Jesus, the greatest leader of all, exemplified the greatest example for us: He led by following! At just 12 years of age, our Lord understood the ART of listening and asking questions!

The WOMAN with the ALABASTER BOX!  She’s mentioned OFTEN! She’s inspired MANY! As I dug deeper into this passage, I was overwhelmed by her depth of assurance of WHO her Lord was!

God is in need of leaders (Mothers and Fathers) in His body more than ever! If we are to carry out the Great Commission to GO and make disciples, we need courageous men and women of God to ARISE and to LEAD!!!

Have you ever heard a more radical statement than eating God’s Word?!?  I love that Jeremiah used this terminology! It articulates spectacularly the power that the living Word of God had upon his heart!

It’s comforting to know that the Holy Spirit gives us the capability, courage, and boldness to be a witness for Him! This past weekend, Nations House of Prayer hosted its first food drive for our community in the parking lot of our building!

God is still looking for intercessors who will cry out for their family, a people, a city, a nation!! 

Intercession is a prayer to God on behalf of another. It’s significant because God is MOVED by it and He RESPONDS to it!

Jesus and his disciples had just entered the country of the Gergesenes and healed two men who were living among the tombs who were demon-possessed and so exceedingly fierce that no one could pass by…

In a dream, God invited Joesph (Mary’s soon-to-be husband) to become a VESSEL that would HELP PRESENT JESUS to the world! 

What an invitation for the church today! If we’ve EVER needed vessels to PRESENT Jesus to the world, it’s NOW!!!

What great insight bubbling forth from David’s heart in Psalm 108:1! An honest assessment that there is a stronghold found only in God that can STEADY our hearts and un-bridle our praise!

Mike and I are celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary!

Our goal was to get off the grid and cherish some undistracted time together. It’s been both sentimental and refreshing! One thing we believe in after 30 years of marriage is the benefit and value of slowing down!
