As we seek to live out the Great Commandment and the Great Commission, we cherish this PRAYER, “If Your presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here!”
HIS PRESENCE must be the CENTERPIECE! We need it, we desire it, and we can’t GO without it!
We know emphatically that the only thing that can bring change to the people in our community is the power and presence of God! We more fully understand why Moses was so zealous that God go WITH him! He found incredible friendship in God’s presence, and it was the fuel he needed to accomplish his mission! What more was there?!
Following the leading of God requires dependency and trust! While we overflow with joy and anticipation, we take each step with the holy fear of the Lord! No place we’d rather be!
