Psalm 44:3 – For they did not gain possession of the land by their own sword, Nor did their own arm save them; But it was Your right hand, Your arm, and the light of Your countenance, Because You favored them.
This past Friday night, we celebrated God’s faithfulness in leading us to 3353 Elgin Street, our new building in the Third Ward of Houston, Texas. We are still SO in awe of the FAVOR of God!
Out of the entire Bible, there is only one book that contains a chapter 33 and verse 53 (the address of our building.) It’s the book of Numbers, and it’s so special to us!
Numbers 33:53 – Take possession of the land and settle in it, for I have given you the land to possess.
We know emphatically that it’s nothing short of the hand of God that we now have a home! To make sure we always remember it, God saw that there was a permanent sign engraved on both the front and back entrances to the building that reads, “All GLORY TO GOD!”
Isn’t that how it is with everything God’s given to us?!
Every GIFT?!
Every BLESSING?!
Every Victory?!
It ALL comes FROM HIM and THROUGH HIM!!
May we be quick to acknowledge His mighty right hand and favor upon our lives!
