Psalm 108:1 – My heart is steadfast, O God! I will sing and make melody with all my being!

What great insight bubbling forth from David’s heart in this scripture! An honest assessment that there is a stronghold found only in God that can STEADY our hearts and un-bridle our praise!

The word STEADY means to be immovable, not subject to change, not easily disturbed or upset, CONSTANT!

How steady is your heart when it comes to giving God praise?

To answer that question, ask yourself, “Do I allow my circumstances to dictate IF and WHEN I will give God praise?”

Think about David’s life!

He penned some of the most praise-filled words in the midst of the most unpleasant circumstances!!!

HOW?!!

David was rooted in the word of God therefore, his trust in God became an unmovable anchor of thanksgiving for him!

Because my heart is steadfast, I will praise you with all of my soul! (Psalm 108:1)

Like you, I want that kind of steadfastness in my soul!

A praise not subject to change, IMMOVABLE!

A heart not easily disturbed or upset, STEADY!

Oh, Praise Him!
