Isaiah 62:6-7 (MSG) — I’ve posted watchmen on your walls, Jerusalem. Day and night they keep at it, praying, calling out, reminding God to remember. They are to give Him no peace until He does what He said, until He makes Jerusalem famous as the City of Praise.
God is still looking for intercessors who will cry out for their family, a people, a city, a nation!!
Intercession is a prayer to God on behalf of another. It’s significant because God is MOVED by it and He RESPONDS to it!
Worship and intercession are not mundane; they are not just about going through the motions! Psalm 141:2 says our intercession is like perfume to God and the lifting up of our hands like a gift bestowed upon Him!
At Nations House of Prayer, every time we come into the prayer room, we are building on past prayers!
We don’t start over with every new day; we continue right where we left off the previous day, the previous week, and so on and so forth! As we seek the Lord morning, noon, and night, we continue to fan the flame of intercession into motion!
God hears every prayer and remembers every cry!
Watchmen were to remind the Lord of His promises and to never let him forget!
As we declare God’s word over our city, we believe He will bring breakthrough even into impossible situations!
May the fire on the altar never burn out!
