I love this incredible exhibit of fervency displayed by the blind man in Luke 18. When he heard that Jesus was passing by, he stormed the atmosphere with persistent cries of supplication! What a beautiful picture of intercession!
Immediately, those ahead of him told him to be quiet! But the blind man cried out even louder! He didn’t give up; instead, he turned the volume up intensely!
Don’t let circumstances or the fear of man silence your intercession, your praise, or your worship! Determine in your heart to go after Jesus with all that you’ve got! In the good times and even more necessary in the difficult ones!
My favorite part about this entire passage is that the blind man’s faith and determination caused Jesus to STAND STILL!
We can gather from this story that there is a cry of intercession so deep that Jesus turns aside to it! That is my hope for the Nations House of Prayer!
