John 4:28-30 – The woman then left her water pot, and went her way into the city, and said to the men, Come, see a man, which told me all things I ever did; is not this the Christ? Then they went out of the city, and came to Him.
“Come, see a Man!”
These were the words uttered from the lips of the Samaritan woman at the well to her friends after having a real, authentic encounter with Jesus!
She didn’t say, “Come see the WELL!” Or, “Come see the PLACE!”
She wasn’t inviting her friends into an experience, she was inviting them into an ENCOUNTER!
If we’re not careful, we can unknowingly allow great experiences to eclipse encounters with Jesus!
Our CRY and invitation at Nations House of Prayer is that people would come for ENCOUNTER! Never would we want to experience great worship songs and great prayer sets but MISS the MAN!
Encountering Him is ALWAYS the GOAL and ALWAYS the AIM!
HE’S IT!!!!
There is NO other who can turn a life around!
There is NO other who can cause one to tell others all about this true God!
Unless encountered by Him our lives would stay the same!
And they told the woman, Now we no longer believe (trust, have faith) just because of what you said; for we have heard Him ourselves (personally), and we know that He truly is the Savior of the world, the Christ. – John 4:42
Not an experience, an ENCOUNTER!
Come, see JESUS!
