Psalm 2:8 – Through the praise of children and infants you have established a stronghold against your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger.
We can learn so much from children when it comes to praise! They bring God their worship with total abandonment, and they are definitely not concerned with what their neighbors think!
It’s for the Audience of ONE!!
At Nations House of Prayer, we love when parents encourage their children to worship with us! It’s been a beautiful sight to behold as little ones wave a banner or dance joyfully before God, each heart ablaze with the love of Jesus!
The Bible says that their praise literally silences (binds or ties up) the enemy! How powerful! I like to think of it this way, “We’re either praising or complaining!” I want to be found praising!!!
May our praise be loud and our childlikeness unrestrained!
Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, And a two-edged sword in their hand, To execute vengeance on the nations, And punishments on the peoples; To bind their kings with chains, And their nobles with fetters of iron; To execute on them the written judgment: This honor have all His saints. Praise the Lord! –Psalms 149:6-9
