Luke 2:37 – Then she lived as a widow to the age of eighty-four. She never left the Temple but stayed there day and night, worshiping God with fasting and prayer.

When I think of Anna, I think of DEVOTION. Her soul’s desire was to wait for the appearing of God’s promised Messiah (JESUS!) As a prophetess, Anna knew that the time was near; therefore, she determined in her heart not to miss it!

What a beautiful day that must have been when she laid eyes on Jesus for the first time! An expectation fulfilled! God’s timing is always perfect!

The heart of Nations House of Prayer is to provide a place where modern-day Annas (no matter their age) can come and minister to the Lord morning, noon, and night with one focus: To behold JESUS!

Anna not only moved God’s HEART with her WORSHIP but also moved His HAND with her INTERCESSION! When we figuratively place our head upon the chest of Jesus in worship, our ears will be open to hear the burdens on His heart! May God turn the fire of our worship into fuel for intercession over our city!

Oh, to move His heart and His hand!

Send us the Annas!
