Luke 12:35 – Let your waist be girded and your lamps burning…
I love the simplicity of this verse!
How do we keep the fire of God lit in our hearts? How do we stand strong in this world? How do we have joy when there is chaos around us?
Let your waist be girded and your lamps burning! Stay in prayer and stay in the Word!
When reading about putting on the full armor of God, Ephesians 6:14 says, “Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth”… The WORD OF GOD is TRUTH!
The closer we get to Jesus, the more the Holy Spirit will emphasize the marriage between worship and His Word. I believe it’s where the true fire of God will burn! We cannot separate the WORSHIP of God from the WORD of God! Spirit and truth! He is BOTH; they are ONE!
At Nations House of Prayer, we want to be passionate about keeping our lamps burning bright through worship and intercession, but we want to be equally passionate about reading, knowing, and falling in love with the word of God!
“But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship Him.”
