Nearly 120 years ago, a spark was lit that would change the world. Before the Azuza Street Revival swept across Los Angeles in 1906, its leader, William J. Seymour, spent time right here in Houston, where he was deeply impacted by the preaching of holiness and the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Though he faced opposition and segregation, God was at work preparing the heart of a man who would later be used to ignite one of the most transformative revivals in modern history.

We believe Houston is a well of revival, and we are asking God to reopen those ancient wells. We’re crying out for a move of His Spirit that is not based on hype or history alone, but a fresh, authentic, powerful outpouring for our day. What happened in Azuza was just the beginning.
